These items are handcrafted and take time to create perfectly to the high standard that our Home in the Hygge Wood customers have come to expect and value. All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
We understand that many of our customers want to send lovely uplifting Hygge Wood Gifts direct to the recipient, especially while we are socially distancing and we are proud to offer this service- just enter the recipients name and address in the delivery details section at check out! We ask that you send to one address per transaction as it helps to keep track of each order arriving.
Home in the Hygge Wood currently offers shipping within the UK mainland only.
During these uncertain and difficult times we are working hard to process your orders and we are shipping orders 3 times a week. We are so privileged to be making these gifts for you and your loved ones especially when you are unable to see them in person.
Please note that all delivery times are estimates and ALL ESTIMATES ARE SUBJECT TO DELAYS CAUSED BY THE PANDEMIC
The delivery address that you provide us with, is where your order will be delivered, so please ensure that you provide us with the correct details at the checkout stage. Orders that are lost and/or not received due to customer error are not eligible for refund or replacement.
We do not currently deliver to PO box addresses.
If a delivery is attempted but cannot be made, you must arrange collection or re-delivery from the depot -if still unsuccessful the parcel may be returned to us. In the case of this happening, we will automatically refund the order minus the postage cost. If the order qualified for free delivery, 4.99 will be deducted from the refund to cover the return cost.
Home in the Hygge Wood is not responsible for orders sent to incorrect addresses etc so please check all of your details are correct before completing your purchases.
Reporting Damages & Missing Items
If you receive your order and their happens to be damages to your goods or anything missing from your order, this needs to be reported to us within 5 working days of receipt of the goods.
Cancellation of Orders
If you wish to cancel your order after placing please contact us as soon as possible. We can not guarantee that we can cancel your order if it has already been processed, we strive to provide an extremely efficient service so your order may have already been dispatched. In this case, you would have to either refuse the parcel at the point of delivery or return to us at your own cost.
When we receive your parcel back to us we will refund the cost of goods minus the postage, if the order qualified for free postage we will deduct 4.99 from the refund to cover the return postage.
We cannot guarantee that we can alter orders after they have been placed as your order is being handmade and may have already started to be processed.
Returns & exchanges
I gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations as per below.
If you wish to return a product or your whole order then, under the Distance Selling Regulations and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Home in the Hygge Wood are happy to refund you on receipt of the item providing it is new (unused) and complete in all the original packaging.
To return your items you must be within 14 days of receipt of your goods and we must receive the goods within 14 days after you have contacted us. The return postage costs are payable by the customer in this circumstance.
When you return your items to us, please include a letter detailing your order number, which items are being returned and your reason for the return. This way we can find your details quickly and have your money refunded as soon as possible.
Refunds are made via the same method used for original payment and can take up to 7 working days to appear in your account, if a whole order is returned you will receive a refund for the goods minus the postage paid.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalised orders
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Items on sale
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return postage costs and ensuring that the item is suitably packaged for return. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
